Today Changed Everything; Easter Reflection.

Today is Easter.
The tomb is empty.
Jesus is alive.
And that changes everything.
He isn’t just the Savior of the world—He’s your Savior.
He didn’t just walk out of the tomb for a powerful display of might—He walked out for you. For every shattered piece of your story. For every dark night. For every tear you’ve cried in secret. For the shame you’ve carried too long. For the wounds that still ache when no one is watching. He walked out of that grave so you’d never have to stay in one.
So how can you see Him in your own life today?
Let’s start here:
He’s in your motherhood.
Every time you whisper “Jesus” when you don’t know what to do. Every time you choose gentle instead of harsh. Every time you apologize to your kids and model humility. He’s there. He’s working through you to show them what love looks like—with skin on.
He’s in your healing.
Every time you choose to speak truth instead of bury it. Every time you break another chain that once held you. That’s resurrection power at work. That’s Jesus.
He’s in your tears.
The ones you’ve cried over your past, over the broken places in your marriage. He bottles every one. He’s not afraid of your pain. He stepped into it. He stayed in it. And He conquered it. With nail-scarred hands, He cups your face and says, “I see you. I’ve been with you the whole time.”
He’s in your fire.
You didn’t walk through it alone. That fire that should’ve destroyed you? It refined you. And Jesus walked through every flame beside you, clearing a path for you. You are not who you used to be. You are being made new. Every single day.
So on this Easter, look at your life—the way you've risen from places that should've buried you—and know:
That’s Jesus.
Alive in you.
Loving you.
Carrying you.
Calling you forward.
And maybe today, as our kids laugh and the sun shines a little warmer, you’ll feel it again…
He’s here.
And He’s not done writing beauty into your story.
